Darn it! (Those digi images!)
Had to post this gorgeous card by Elaine -- it's one of my favorite images and Elaine's the first one to try it! Also, on her blog Quixotic Cards, in the comments under this post I finally had the opportunity to explain a little about my process -- and why I think illustrations by artists for cards can be much more than just "digis." I must confess, my eyes keep going to the little poll on my sidebar and wishing I could say this to the (five) people who picked "I prefer rubber, thanks!"teehee! xoMo

A post without a picture!!
Couple of things I wanted to tell all you guys (besides how much I love you, teehee!)
First, I hope you understand I don't know what I'm doing . . . but I have blundered my way into SNR (The Card Universe) and put up a "group" of which I am currently my only member -- except for Anne House, who you may know is the creator of the network. So anyone who is a member of SNR and would like to join me consider yourselves invited!! (right now my group page is very echoey.) Here's the address: http://snrcardiverse.ning.com/group/mosdigitalpencil Maybe I'll have contests or something? Or occasionally a exclusive free image?? hmm.
Second, Randa Clay of Doodle Beans Digital Stamps (has sweetly put up an interview with me on her design site at: http://randaclay.com/inspiration/interview-childrens-book-illustrator-maurie-manning/ Take a peek at if you ever wanted to know random facts about how I started illustrating :)
