We have the Winners!

FINALLY!!!  All the winners for the double blog-hop and Mo's Party have been announced at Mo's group on PCP!  (Check the discussion area for winners.)  We had well over 200 enter by figuring out the blog hop's secret phrase.

Here's the handmade OOAK doll (based on one of my very first stamps) which will be given away to grand prize winner Elaine Moore!  Elaine, hope you like her!  xoMo

Mo's Party Winners!

Will be announced very SOON -- I have to weed through several mailboxes because many entrants forgot to put the answer in the subject line and/or forgot to send it to the right address!  Bella and Bronte are as impatient as you are!  :)

Sisters

While all you clever puzzle solvers are waiting to hear the results of the Big Blog Hop contest (winners will be announced on Saturday!) I thought I'd share this stunning "Sisters" card by Barb Hardeman -- she calls it "Look What I Got" after a game she and her sister used to play with the Sears Catalog.  My siblings and I used to play it too -- who needs real toys? :)  Make sure to click on the picture to go to Barb's blog to see it up close!

Party Hop!!!

It's the Party Hop!  Both the Dream Team and the Challenge Blog DT have joined forces to help celebrate!  Collect letters from each blog plus my PCP group to spell a phrase -- then email me at party@mosdigitalpencil.com with the secret phrase as the subject heading to be entered in the prize drawings!

Don't forget to leave a comment on each of the Hop stops!  Each DT member will be giving away the Mo's stamp they used for today's project to one of their visitors.

Mo will be on Paper Craft Planet all day (well, all day California time!) so stop by and say hi!

HOP ORDER

Sunday, February 14, 2010

Did you know there's a Mo's PARTY on Tuesday?

That's right!  It's Mo's SIX MONTH anniversary and we reached the 1000 member milestone on PCP last week -- so Bella and Bronte called for a celebration!

Blog Hop with both DTs!  Each  DT member will be giving "their" stamp to a random person who leaves a comment.  Plus, visitors can gather "clues" at each stop to spell a phrase and be entered into the big contest to win one of many prizes including:
Mo's Digital stamps
Stampavie Mo's stamps
coffee cups, totes and teeshirts from Mo's Zazzle shop
and the grand prize of an original handmade art doll by Mo!

Participate in the hop and then drop by my PCP group any time on Tuesday to enter in the prize drawings. Winners will be announced Friday!  Hope you'll join us!

Annie on her Hobby Horse

Yesterday a customer asked if I had a colored sample of Annie on her hobby horse I could show her.  I haven't seen too many finished cards using this illustration, so I asked Mina from my Dream Team to help me out with a sample.  As usual, her work is even BETTER than I can dream of!  Thanks, Mina!! xoxoMo

oooh, and here's another beautiful 'Annie' by Alina from her blog, Simcards!  Alina, thanks for letting me know you did one too!

Tutorial on Merging Images

I've had lots of emails from people looking for a tutorial on merging two or more images to make one scene -- I'm very happy to say, Vix Kennedy has just put a terrific tutorial up on her site "Crafty Cardmakers" and has allowed me to link to it from the sidebar of my "Got Questions?" blog.  Click this picture to go directly to Vix's post with instructions.

Please remember there are some rules when merging images -- mine are written in my Angel Policy:

Regarding the use of MERGED IMAGES: MJM images may only be merged with other MJM images unless you email me for special permission. Cards using merged images are only for personal use and may not be sold unless you receive permission from me.

As always -- when in doubt, just ask!
